Consent

Guests are asked for consent when they join a wedding's camera. Couples consent when they create a wedding. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to hello@shaadicam.in; we will then stop using your data and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep part of it (for example, payment records).

Children

ShaadiCam accounts are for adults. Guests under 18 should join only with a parent's or guardian's permission. Weddings include family members of all ages, so photos may show children; a parent or guardian can ask us to remove any photo of their child, and we will do so promptly.

Who can see your photos

Where your data is kept

All your photos, videos and account details are stored on servers in India, and that's where they stay. We don't store copies anywhere else.

A few trusted service providers help us run ShaadiCam – for example to keep the site fast and secure, to send you emails and WhatsApp messages you've asked for, to take payments and to print photobooks. To do that, small pieces of information (such as your email address when we send you a sign-in link) may briefly pass through their systems, which can be outside India. They act only on our instructions, keep it only as long as they need to provide that service, and never use it for their own purposes.

We share data with authorities only when Indian law requires it.

How long we keep it

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos are stored privately and shown only through short-lived links. Access to systems is limited to what is needed to run ShaadiCam. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
