ShaadiCam

Terms of service

The agreement between you and ShaadiCam when you use the wedding camera.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

ShaadiCam ("we", "us") is operated by Company name in India – to be added once incorporated. These terms apply to everyone who uses ShaadiCam: couples and planners who create a wedding ("hosts"), guests who join one, and photographers who use it for their clients. By using ShaadiCam you agree to them.

1. The service

ShaadiCam gives each wedding a shared camera. Guests open it in their browser from a QR code or link, take a limited number of photos per event, and the photos are revealed to the wedding's guests at a time the host chooses. Hosts can preview, hide and download photos, and order add-ons such as photobooks.

2. Who can use it

3. The host's responsibilities

4. Photos and ownership

5. What you must not do

Do not use ShaadiCam to upload or share anything that:

6. Reporting and removal

Anyone can report a photo using the report option in the album, or by writing to hello@shaadicam.in. We remove content that breaks these terms or the law. Complaints about nudity, sexual content or impersonation are acted on within 24 hours; other complaints are resolved within 15 days. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Prices and payment

8. Availability

We work hard to keep ShaadiCam running, and photos are saved on the guest's phone until they upload. But venues can have poor signal, phones can run out of battery, and services can occasionally fail. We do not guarantee that every photo will be captured or uploaded, and ShaadiCam is not a replacement for a professional photographer. Please download any photos you want to keep before the album expires.

9. Retention and deletion

Albums are kept for one year after the wedding's last event and then deleted. The host may delete the album earlier. See our privacy policy for details.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of photos that were never uploaded. Our total liability for any claim about a wedding is limited to the amount paid for that wedding. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using ShaadiCam at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, and will refund any unused amount if we end a paid wedding without good reason.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first – most problems can be fixed quickly. Disputes not resolved within 30 days may be taken to the competent courts in India, or to a consumer commission.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell hosts by email before it takes effect. The changes do not apply to a wedding that has already been paid for, unless the law requires them.
